Dr. Santosh Sapkota, vice president of America Nepal Medical Foundation (ANMF) spoke at the ninth annual international conference on Saturday, April 1 2017, titled “Science and Technology-New Perspectives and Challenges.”
Conference coordinator Menuka Karki said the conference is one of the biggest events NeSA engages in to keep NMSU vibrant and visible across the United States. Topics of the presentations include science and technology; health, science, technology and engineering; and education, literacy, diplomacy and development. Durga Neupane, president of NeSA, said students from various disciplines and universities will present their research findings.
Added Ram N. Acharya, associate professor and NeSA adviser, “The conference challenges students to get involved in applied research, provides opportunities to develop professional network, and showcases their research to a wider audience.”

The Nepalese Students’ Association (NeSA) is a chartered student organization at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, which was established in 2006.
